Kinja'd!!!

How hard would it be to put a third pedal in here? Any ideas on cost?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

For the record, I won't be doing this. My MAX budget for a car is 1/10 that price. Feel free to recommend rides under $2500 though. :)

Engine management systems will throw all sorts of heinous errors.

If you want a reputable shop to do a stock looking install I'd guess at the bare minimum $10'000.

Third pedal is easy. Making it work, well, if you have to ask...

I figured as much...

Oh well, I can dream.

Cool car though. Gotta love diesel pickup truck hp and torque in a Mercedes sedan.

One that is attached to a manual transmission. I may be 15 but I love stick.

I didn't even think of that...

Sorry.

I love manual transmissions. Makes driving more fun.

That kind of torque will require a transmission and more importantly a clutch of herculean dimensions. The pedal pressure will be so ridiculous that you'll need a spare person to help you push down on it. And that's not taking into account the sheer ridiculousness of the idea, a car with that much torque is better suited to an automatic anyway.

Send it to Cuba and they'll figure out how to do it for very little money. Though it might end up having a diesel truck engine swapped into it as part of the process...
